Text: Proverbs 28:20

” A faithful man shall abound with blessings. “

If you served and still ended up poor; still struggling and toiling, then, you didn’t really serve! Because you cannot serve faithfully, loyally and with heart service and not end up better and greater than you were before serving…
This scripture really grabs me,
A disciple is not above his teacher; but every one that is perfectly trained shall be like his teacher. “

So, if you’re not anywhere near the person/organization you served in your results, then, it’s either you didn’t really serve or you didn’t wait to be “perfectly trained”! The scripture cannot be broken, it can only be fulfilled, like I always say.

I tell people that serving in another man’s thing is an opportunity to practice how you will do your own thing. So if you cut corners, cheat, murmur and grumble all the way through your years or time of serving someone else, when you finally settle down to your own thing, you will struggle. (That’s if God will give you your own thing… ).
Because God said if you’ve not been faithful in that which is another’s, who will give you your own?

True service gives you the opportunity to become a better and greater man/woman than you were. That’s why God believes in and recommends service. It’s the pathway to greatness and relevance in life.
In the secular world it’s called “apprenticeship “. It offers you the opportunity and privIlene to receive training for the future you desire.

Service can turn any good-for-nothing, down and out nobody into a mighty man/woman. Look at the case of the “above 400 men” that gathered themselves unto to David, and he became a captain over them. They were men the Bible described as, ” in distress, in debt, discontented… “

See what God used David to make out of them some years later: “These are the names of the MIGHTY MEN which David had… “

Yes, authentic service makes a mighty man/woman out of you!

Look at me,for instance… If you’re familiar with where I’m coming from, you will readily acknowledge that I am a living proof of this truth I’m sharing with you here… Praise God!

I would love to hear from you!
