Text : Obadiah 1:17; John 14:12; Mark 16:15

You are only relevant to God and his purpose, on this earth, to the level of your character.
☆ Strength of character is a must, if God must use us as saviors indeed – Obadiah 1:17.
☆Strength of character is a must, if God must manifest his power through you as a son of God – 1 John 3:1-2; Romans 8:18-20; John 1:12-13.
☆ It is strength of character that will keep you standing strong and effective when others are falling; no matter who or what wants you to fall.

#Christianity is all about #character – a lifestyle that is out of this world; a #lifestyle that came from heaven to change the world, to bring humanity back to God. Not by force, but by a willingness that comes from a heart that is converted, and a mind that is totally transformed and cleansed of every form of corruption (like that of a child).

Christian character is not a product of self-discipline, determination or new year resolutions. No! It is when the Word of God works in you and on you to bring out the God in you, to empower your new nature in Christ and bring it to the fore, over and above the controlling power of your human nature.

☆ Christian character is you walking this earth as the visible, express image (the very likeness) of the God that men cannot see – like Jesus did when he walked this earth (Colossians 1:15; 1John 2:6).

☆ Christian character
is when the Word of God, by the ministry of theHoly Spirit, has brought you to a place where you boldly declare, like Jesus, “If you have seen me, you have seen the Father… I and my Father are one… “
That, my friend, is strength of character! Jesus is our perfect, ultimate model of Christian character – Ephesians 4:8-13.

☆The blessing (empowerment to succeed – Genesis 1:28) will never work for a believer with a weak Christian character.

Consecration, is a decision for a strong Christian character – read about Joseph in Genesis 39:1-9; Daniel in Daniel 1:1’20; Shedrach, Meshack and Abednego in Daniel 3:11-37.
