Text: Mark 12:24
You see, making a decision on when to marry is an easier task than settling for who to marry. Yes! You consider a lot of physical, material, financial and natural details and then convince yourself that, ” Yes! I think I’m ready for marriage now…” But who to marry? That my brother/sister is a different ball game…

First, I need to let you know that marriage is the rest of your life! The day you make a decision for marriage, you have made a decision for a permanent location for the rest of your life – whether you know it or not. Much more, it’s a spiritual location, from where everything else in your life begins to unfold. That’s why who you eventually settle into marriage with is very crucial.

Who to marry must be a decision, not a choice! Yes! A very, strong, calculated, wise and intelligent decision, based on a clear instruction and direction from God.

That is, it’s not a decision you make based on anything natural, or what your physical eyes can see. Neither is it a decision based on any man’s recommendation, or what your emotions or natural desires are telling you. More importantly, don’t bring in any philosophical, traditional, cultural, social or intellectual reasoning into it.

Not that these things don’t matter, mind you. But they may misguide you. This is because the husband/wife you’re looking for, or that you need to partner with you for a great and fulfilling rest of your life, is hidden inside a physical appearance, and beyond anything your senses or emotions can grab.

Making a dcision for who to marry, therefore , must be by revelation …Read 1Corinthians 2:9-13. It is the Ministry of the Holy Spirit, whom God gives to us to live in us when we come into Christ, so that he can help us, teach us, direct us and guide us into what God has planned and prepared for us before he sent us here on earth. And your marriage is a very important part of that plan…Jeremiah 1:5; Jeremiah 29:11-13.

You often hear things like, “How to choose a life partner.” But please, understand that according to God’s principles, you don’t choose a wife/husband. Choosing suggests that there are multiple possibilities and that all you need is make a choice.

But no! Only one woman out there is your wife, so you have to find her – Proverbs 18:22. And only one man out there is your husband, so when he comes asking “Will you marry me?”, you have a decision and not a choice to make. That, my brother/sister requires maturity, sensitivity and godly wisdom…Ecclesiastes 10:10b says, ” but wisdom is profitable to direct.”

Please read the following scriptures for more understanding : Ezekiel 36:24-27; John 14:17-26; John 16:13-14…You surely cannot afford to make a mistake that can cause you a lifetime of horror and sorrow. Which is the experience of many men and women in marriage in the world today.
My prayer for you is that this word I have brought you, here, is indeed a word in season for you. Alleluia!

You can never maximize your full potentials operating with a false identity…Psalm 49:12.

Success will remain a day dream to you, if you’re running your destiny with a false identity. Anything can stop you, anything can shut you up, anything can molest and harass you, anything can kill you before your time. I tell you!

The high places of the earth are for those who know who they are and operate in the power of who they are.

Jesus said, “I am he that was dead, and now… ” He wasn’t guessing!
“I am the water of life. He that drinketh me… “- John 4;14.
“I am the bread of life. He that eateth me…” – John 6:48
In John 10:11 &14 he said, “I am the good shepherd… ”
“If you have seen me you have seen the Father…” – John 9:4
“I and my Father are one…” – John 10:30.
As the Father has life in him…” – John 5:26
He said, “Verily, verily i say unto you, the hour has come, and now is, when those who are dead shall hear the son of man…” -John 5:23

Paul will always establish his identity before speaking, “Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ…”
“Paul, called to be an apostle…” So you don’t make the mistake of thinking it’s a politician talking to you.

Knowing your identity also gives you a definite language of power…

They said of Jesus, “From where did this man get this authority? What wisdom is this that he does these mighty works? “Why? His words were with power, because he had power and he knew it – Luke 4:18.
He said to them, “Who touched me? Because I know power has gone out of me.. ” Mark 5:30
