SCHOOL OF MINISTRY with Dr Ada Ezeka 4

Text : Job 34:10

“Therefore hearken unto me, ye men of understanding:

far be it from God, that he should do wickedness;

and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.”

You see, Man /Woman of God…

God does not need to make things tight for you, to get your attention…or to convince you that he wants you to relocate to another city to do Ministry…No! That’s human reasoning.

God will not withdraw his love and grace from you just to make you fail…So that you will finally agree for him to relocate you to somewhere else…or to something else…Who does that?

God doesn’t have any problem beginning a new thing…without killing, or destroying what he has already birthed…No! He’s not a waster of resources…Neither is he a destroyer!

That you’re experiencing hardship in Ministry does not necessarily mean that you’re in the wrong place/city…

Nor does it mean that God is not with you…Or that you’re not called…Or that you’re in some kind of disobedience…No!

Do you remember what Jesus said in Matthew 28:19-20?

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations…and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

Know that every thing born…every seed sown…needs time to grow, mature…and begin to give its harvests or fruits…

Faithfulness always delivers “after a long time!”, remember? Not suddenly…or ASAP (as soon as possible)…Read Matthew 25.

Though the fruits, results, profit, expectations, or harvest of your labour tarry…you have been told to wait for it…Because it will surely come…And it will not delay one more day…Yes! (Habakkuk 2:3).

So you don’t need gimmicks !

You don’t need to cut corners!

You don’t need to throw in the towel (quit)!

Just keep putting in your best, doing what is required…the right way, of course!

It is foolishness to give up on the investments you have made…before they deliver profit to you…

Wait patiently for the fruits of your labour…That is if you’re really laboring (or have labored)…And not with your hands on the plow, and your eyes, ears and heart somewhere else! No!

What you call hardship…the word of God calls it “hardness”, or “afflictions” that are just for a moment…Because a heavy wait of glory will soon hit you and that great work you’ve been putting your best into, so diligently and faithfully…(in spite of the wars within you…the doubts you’ve been battling with…the mockers, etc)! Alleluia!

That’s why 2 Timothy 2:3 says:

“Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.”

Let me say this in closing…

Any Ministry work can succeed anywhere…Because the earth of any city, village or nation (and all the riches loaded in it), is the Lord’s…and will answer to any believer!

Look at Deuteronomy 2:36…

“From Aroer, which is by the brink of the river of Arnon, and from the city that is by the river, even unto Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us: the Lord our God delivered all unto us…”

That’s the power of the dominion mandate every believer is called into!

Anywhere you go, as a Minister of the Gospel…It’s not the place that makes you…It’s the power of the Gospel you preach, that makes the place…and the place begins to give back to you…Yes!

Look at Hebrews 6:7:

“For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God…”

May you flourish evermore in abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness…in Jesus precious name, I pray! Praise God!

Text : Luke 15:11-14

“…he wasted all his money in wild living…his money ran out…and he began to starve.”

Do you know? It’s not money that makes you rich…It’s what you do with money that makes you rich…Yes!

I’ve come to realize, also, that the difference between rich people and poor people…is what they did/do with their money…

The daily paid bricklayer, for instance, has remained in that state year in year out…because as soon as he gets his pay that day, he spends it all to meet needs…and waits for the next day’s pay!

But do you know the same man can go from that poverty state to a place of employer of labour…to a place of passing down wealth (not poverty) to his children?

Those who spend all the money that they get, will never come out of poverty…because only money invested multiplies and translates to wealth and riches…

Many poor people are praying everyday…and waiting for God to bring them out of poverty…

But listen…God doesn’t give people wealth…he gives them power to get/make wealth…What you do with that power is up to you…Deuteronomy 8:18.

And God also teaches you to make profit…it’s also up to you to let him teach you…Isaiah 46:

But as for God, his will is that your silver and gold multiply…(Deuteronomy 8:13)…Not by gambling…winning a lottery…or waiting for a windfall…But by doing with the money he gives you, what will make it multiply…not what will make it finish…Read 2Corinthians 9:5-6.

Do you know that even wealth that is not properly managed can soon become poverty? So it’s not about how much money you make or have…It’s how you manage it.

Many are under the misconception that it’s more money that will bring them out of poverty…So they’re willing to do anything for money!

Many also believe that more money in their hands will solve all their problems…So they live, sleep and dream money all the time…No wonder the Bible said , “the love of money is the root of all evil…”

I ask you again…what are you doing with your money? Are you wasting it on wild living? Are you spending it all to settle needs? Or are you investing it?

Know this…God has not called us to manage poverty…He has called us to manage wealth! Never allow money to run out in your hands…

But know this…no one with poverty mentality can manage wealth!

And instead of envying the rich…humble yourself and go find out what they did with money that came to them (as it also comes to you) to become rich…

Don’t be deceived…Not everybody who is rich is a thief!

May this week bring you opportunities that will change your status permanently…in Jesus precious name!

FAMILY LIFE UNIVERSITY with Nkwerre Women…August Meeting

Women are indeed vessels of honor!

The woman’s ministry came with such great honor and power from God!

God was bent on providing his man with a suitable help that will guarantee his maximum success in the job he gave him…Genesis 2:15 & 18.

And at the end of the day, who did he present to the man? The woman! Such a great honor…wouldn’t you say?

No wonder God told husbands to honor and respect their wives…Love them to pieces…and to be mindful of the tag he placed on them : “Fragile! Handle with care!”

In 1 Peter 3:7 he said,

“The same goes for you husbands: Be good husbands to your wives. Honor them, delight in them. As women they lack some of your advantages. But in the new life of God’s grace, you’re equals. Treat your wives, then, as equals so your prayers don’t run aground…”

In Ephesians 5:25, he said,

“Husbands, go all out in your love for your wives, exactly as Christ did for the church – a love marked by giving, not getting.”

Can you imagine? God has so much confidence in the woman that he said the honor and power her womanhood came with can totally transform her husband…even if he doesn’t go to church or read the Bible…Awesome, isn’t it? – 1 Peter 3:1-7.

That is why every woman (married or single, young or old) should do womanhood with dignity…

And refuse to allow tradition, and the world’s tragically uninformed perspective of the woman to decide her self esteem or value for herself…

No matter your age or estate in life, woman, you must be determined to do womanhood with great dignity and self respect…

Don’t sell yourself short!

Be mindful of the honor and power God created you with…You are of unequaled value to God…

Can you imagine…He said the man’s world is not complete without you…

He said the man can’t go far without you…

In Genesis 2:18 he said,

“It’s not good for the Man to be alone; I’ll make him a helper, a companion.”

And Proverbs18:22 says,

“Find a good spouse, you find a good life – and even more: the favor of God!”

Look at that…Do men read the Bible at all?

And Ecclesiastes 4:9-11 says,

“It’s better to have a partner than go it alone. Share the work, share the wealth.

And if one falls down, the other helps, But if there’s no one to help, tough!

Two in a bed warm each other. Alone, you shiver all night.”

Your husband is jobless…he’s incapacitated…or he’s even well off…but doesn’t fulfill his responsibilities towards you and the family…you’re the one paying the house rent…school fees… Christmas clothes…food on the table…the load is so heavy on you!

Well, didn’t God send you into his life as “helpmeet”…just the right help he needs for such a time as this? So, don’t let it diminish your respect for his authority over you, or in the home!

So, don’t murmur! Don’t grumble! Don’t tell the whole world about it! Don’t complain – not even to Good! Don’t nag him! Don’t rub it in! Don’t keep reminding him of his helplessness! Okay?

Even though he may not appreciate all you’re doing…Don’t let that affect how you do the job God created and employed you for…You’re doing it for him (God), not the man…And he’s aware of everything, and he’s with you always…

So be strong in him…Draw your strength from him…Ephesians 6:10 (Amplified); Isaiah 52:1-2.

And I’d like you to know this…God pays well…Yes! He said…

>He’s going to load you with “plenty of goods” by your children – Deuteronomy 28:11.

>He said you won’t labour for someone else to come and eat…rather he will make sure you live long and healthy to enjoy the fruits of your labour – Isaiah 65:20-22.

Isn’t that so comforting? So, shake off that sorrow! Shake off that hurt, that bitterness and unforgiveness…they’ll cut short your life!

Place a high value on your womanhood!

Protect and guard your “womanness”…It’s your greatest asset in life…It’s who you are – a woman! It wasn’t your choice! God decided it! So…No apologies!

I curse every sickness or disease that is harassing your body right now! You will live long, strong and healthy…happy and fulfilled…In Jesus name!

Just stay intimate with God…he loves you…And he’s always there for you! So rejoice!

See..God does not hyjack people’s things…he has his own!

2:God is not eyeing anybody’s thing…he has more than enough and looking for who to bless with it!

3:So, if God is asking you to give out anything at all, it’s because he has something better, and greater to take its place…

Therefore,”harden not your heart” beloved! It’s a great weekend for you…in the name of Jesus Christ! Yes!

Text: Proverbs 31:17

“Strength and dignity are her clothing…She’s energetic and strong, a hard worker.”

Hear me, beautiful…Womanhood is a responsibility you can’t do in any form of weakness! Yes!

Many men are standing strong, but weak wives won’t let them move forward…They have wives who are supposed to be “helpmeet”…Ye they’re still like a man running a marathon race on one leg!

Woman! Don’t live life exposed, naked and so, so vulnerable…Clothe yourself with strength!

Psalm 144:12 says you’re a pillar…If a pillar begins to wobble…then the structure it’s supporting is in trouble, I tell you!

God has watched you weak…It’s paining him!

The things you shouldn’t come to him crying about, you still come to him crying about them…You too know it, shey?

You think God is looking for your tears? No…he’s waiting for you to realize the stuff you’re made of…and for you to rise up to its potency…Yes!

This book is a must read for every woman…young or old…married or single…Watch out for it!

Text: 1 Chronicles 29:22

“They ate and drank before the Lord on that day with great rejoicing….”

If you’re a Christian, God doesn’t want you hungry…He wants you to eat well…He wants you to eat sumptuously…He wants your family to eat well.

The long life God has promised you as a believer may be sabotaged, if you’re not eating the way God has ordained, planned and made provisions for you to eat…

The question is…How does God want you to eat?

Now…See how God wants you to eat…all the time…everyday:

>He wants you to eat in plenty and be satisfied – Read Joel 2:27.

>He wants you to eat good things – Read Psalm 103:5.

>He wants you to eat and be full- Read Deuteronomy 6:11 & 15.

>He wants you to eat without scarceness – Read Deuteronomy 8:7-9.

>He wants you to eat from barns filled with plenty – Read Proverbs 3:9-10.

>He wants you to eat from a full storehouse – Deuteronomy 28:8.

>So you can stay young – Read Psalm 103:5

>So you can be strong – Read Ecclesiastes 10:17; 1 Samuel 28:20-22.

>So you won’t die – Read Psalm 107:18.

>The journey to the fulfillment of your destiny and the fruits of your labour is too far – Read 1 Kings 19:4-8; Psalm 92:12-14; Isaiah 65:20-22.

>So that you will live…a long, good and blessed-in-all-things life – Read Matthew 4:4; Genesis 24:1; Exodus 20:12.

God wants you to eat well, yes! But…

-Not for drunkenness – Ecclesiastes 10:16.

-Don’t make your belly your God – Philippians 3:18-20.

-Beware of craving – Numbers 11:4-6.

-Don’t make food a priority -Matthew 6:25.

-Put God First…Because God in your home is food in your home -Matthew 6:24-33.

-Don’t be selfish – Luke 12:16-21.

-You must work – 2 Thessalonians 3:10

-Don’t be greedy – 2 Kings 5:1-27.

-Don’t depend on yourself, salary, efforts…Honor the Lord with your substance – Proverbs 3:5-9.

-You shall not borrow – Deuteronomy 15:6.

If this has blessed you…Give the Lord quality praise! Alleluia!

You can’t live your life by what somebody else will tell you…

Tell yourself something…

Something positive, not negative…

Something that will make you strong, not weak…

Something that will make you happy, not sad…joyful, not depressed…

Something that will inspire you, not dull your intelligence…

Something that will make you act wisely, not foolishly…

Something that will give you momentum, not slow you down…

Something that will make you better, not worse than you are already…Yes!

Come to think of it…it all begins in your thoughts…

So, be careful what you think…

Be careful how you think!

God never walks crooked places!

God won’t walk tight places! Oh yes!

So, he takes small and makes it big…

He takes few and makes it much!

Why? So that it can advertise his bigness…his presence…his partnership!

I tell you, if you will attract God to that thing you think is small…just watch…

In “the process of time”, it will take on the shape and size of his bigness!

The secret? Jeremiah 30:19!

So, please, don’t let that small thing in your hand die, okay?

Nurture it!

Invest in it!

Give it your best!

Protect it!

Take care of it!

We were looking at what a husband or wife should do when he/she finds out that his/her wife/husband has a child from outside… THE GOD DIMENSION

I have come to understand that… * God does not do wickedness (Read Job 34:10). * There is no deceit in him (James 1:17). * He is good and upright (Psalm 92:14-15) * He makes decisions based on his love and demands the same of us (John 3:16). * He is a generation -minded God.

Having said all that…(in PT 1)… This is my answer:

Whatever decision you choose to take, God will neither condemn you, nor punish you. But think about the consequences of your decision on the future of that child and generations that will be birthed and affected by his life… Neither will God force a choice or decision on you. But remember that Romans 5:5 says he has poured his love in our hearts. And the reason is to ensure that our decisions are guided by his love. This love forgives! This love makes excuses for multitude of sins! This love is unselfish! This love thinks God first, others second and you last. When we make a decision for love, there’s nothing we can’t forgive and forget.

THIS IS MY WISE COUNSEL… Forgive your husband /wife. Don’t let his/her past mistake ruin your marriage…It’s not worth it!

Finally, accept that child! If you truly love your wife/husband, you should be able to love a child that is his/her’s or yours.

Both of you should agree to bring the child in (if necessary), and give him/her the same privileges your children are enjoying.

Don’t think about what people will say. It’s not important. God and tomorrow are more important! Don’t hurt so much! Remove sorrow, anger and bitterness from your heart. Let God comfort and help you. Guard the Spirit of Marriage, and be happy! Okay? (Read Malachi 2:15-16 in Message Bible or NKJV). Peace, in Jesus name! Alleluia!

WILL YOU MARRY ME? with Ada Ezeka

(answering your questions on relationship)

Ma, is dating necessary before marriage…If “Yes!”, for how long?

A: Yes dating is necessary before marriage…But in courtship!

Because boyfriend/girlfriend is not allowed in Christianity…Besides, why waste your love, time, energy, gifts, money, etc on a guy or girl that will later leave you to go settle down with someone else? It’s foolishness! Absolutely counterproductive!

I always tell girls, you were not created for a boyfriend or sugar daddy, or someonelses’s husband…you were created for a husband…your own husband…wait for him…Don’t make yourself a second-hand material by the time he comes! Maintain your self respect and the dignity of womanhood…Yes!

I’ve come to see that the boyfriend/girlfriend syndrome, is a magnetic field of sin and promiscuity…an alternative to marriage that satan has provided for the youth of today…

They’re not married, yet they’re doing everything that only married people are supposed to do (even getting pregnant and having babies)!

Dating is necessary for people in courtship…so you can get to know each other better, and begin to build a relationship that will continue in marriage (but it must be discreetly and with decency and caution – no carelessness…no mischief)!

It will also help you to know the stuff your fiance/fiancée is made of…So you can decide whether you can live together happily and profitably as husband and wife that will enhance each other, or not…

The how long should be long enough to study and know enough about each other…to be able to decide whether to continue or break the courtship.

What’s the hurry anyway? You have a whole lifetime to live together! You don’t want to live it in misery and regret, do you?

Wisdom…and the fear of God, is the name of the game!

And…Make sure you don’t leave God out of it all, okay? He’s very interested in your future…Read Jeremiah 29:11-13.

You’re blessed!
