Text: Acts 3:6

“Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.”

God once told me, “God once said to me,

“Such as you have is always good enough…You never can tell how far it will go.”

Beloved, never let the devil tell you that what you have is not enough to give…or to do what you need to do…or to start what you want to start.

That widow went crying to Elisha the prophet for help to redeem her sons…And Elisha asked her what she had that he can use as a point of contact for more-than-enough of what she needed…She said,

“Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil.”

God was sending Moses to deliver the children of Israel from their many years of Egyptian bondage and slavery…And Moses was bothered that they might not believe him…And God asked him,

“And the Lord said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod. And he said, Cast it on the ground.”

If you allow the devil to convince you that what you have is worth nothing, or is too small, or not enough to give, to invest, or to do what you want to do…You have allowed him to rob you of an opportunity to provoke a harvest of more than that thing you have.

At least, what you have is your own to do as occasion serves you…But what you don’t have cannot become yours, if you don’t take a chance with what you have…

When Peter had enough confidence in the potency of such as he had, it answered to him, and changed the life of a 40 year-old man who had been born lame:

“And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God…” -Acts 3:6-8.

When the widow obeyed the Prophet’s instruction on what to do with what she had, she ended up with multiplied dimension of it – enough to solve her problem herself, and to live on for always…

Look at it:

“So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out. And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed. Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest.” – 2 Kings 4:5-7.

When Moses did what God told him to do with a mere shepherd’s in his hand, he got a result that boosted his confidence in the seemingly impossible mission God was sending him to accomplish for him:

“And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it. And the Lord said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand: That they may believe that the Lord God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee.” – Exodus 4:3-5.

I tell you, truly, you can never tell how far a small thing can go…or how big small can become…or how plenty few can become, until you do something wise and profitable with it! Yes.

May the Lord give you understanding…

May your mentality be converted…in Jesus precious name!
