Text: Genesis 2:18

“God said, “It’s not good for the Man to be alone; I’ll make him a helper, a companion.”

Let me tell you: there is more to the woman’s assignment than child-bearing.

So, woman, not being able to have a child for your husband does not make you any less a wife or help meet (or a suitable co worker for the task) for him.

It is your womb that probably has a problem, not you…And you’re not your womb!

A woman does not lose her God intended relevance to her husband and the society just because her womb has a problem doing its job.

A woman does not lose her God-given place and power just because she can’t bear children.

A woman should not lose value in the eyes of her husband, family and society just because she is unable to get pregnant and give birth to a child…

Abraham and Sarah, Elkanah And Hannah, Zechariah and Elizabeth all stayed happily married, till old age, without children…until the tables turned against the spirit of barrenness!

Elkanah said to his wife, Hannah,

Oh, Hannah, why are you crying? Why aren’t you eating? And why are you so upset? Am I not of more worth to you than ten sons?” – 1 Samuel 1:8

That is, a woman should still be happy and fulfilled whether she’s able to bear children or not…

And listen to me: there’s nothing wrong with adoption…Yes! God believes in it….

If you’re unable to have a child (due to some medical or physiological reasons, maybe)…adopt a child on whom you can lavish all the fatherly and motherly virtue and love God created you with…But do it legally, okay?

Don’t go and “buy”a child…after faking a pregnancy…For what?

That’s an unfortunate mockery of the dignity and integrity of womanhood! Don’t do it ! You don’t have to prove anything to anybody…
