Not, “Your money or your life? ” this time… lol!

Have you ever heard some women say, “The only reason I’m in this marriage is because of my children… “

Listen sis, you’re not in marriage for the children’s sake, you’re in marriage for your husband’s sake!

Please read Genesis 2:18-25; in case you’ve forgotten why you went into marriage in the first place.

Note also that the children are the seed of the man, not yours! Read Psalm 112:1-3.

And of course, remember you came into the marriage because of the man; there were no children… Success in motherhood will never take the place of your failure in marriage! No!

Recently God said to me, ” Many women have succeeded in motherhood, but not as many women have succeeded in wifehood!”

Wifehood is your ministry to your husband, while motherhood is your ministry towards the children – none should take the place of the other…

To say that you’re in that marriage just because of the children, is like saying, ” Oh, I love these mango fruits! I can’t do without them! “

You do?! Really? ” ” Oh yes I do. But the mango tree can go to hell for all I care! “

Excuse me?

Text: Proverbs 25:28

“A person without self-control is like a house with its doors and windows knocked out.”

Wow! What a vulnerable state to find one’s self in! That’s where emotional stress can get you to…I tell you!

There’s a very strong and counterproductive relationship between emotional stress and your work, career, business, etc.

Whether you’re a man or woman, married or single, emotional stress will limit your productivity and effectiveness on any job or assignment.

Emotional stress comes (especially) when we mismanage our relationships…

Whether you like it or not, whether you know it or not, if your relationship is not working, it will cause you emotional…and sometimes mental stress (and also a great damage to your health)…which affects your performance and success rate. Yes!

That’s why it’s important to learn relationship skills, and how to manage your relationship in a way that makes it a plus, not a minus, for your pursuits.

Some people pursue success, fame and results at the expense of their relationships. This is so wrong.

You can retire from a job, business, career or profession, but relationships are forever. For instance, you don’t retire from beign a wife, husband, father or mother.

Listen to me, dear friend: your desire for success in any pursuit, places a demand (and an uncompromising responsibility) on you to take care of your love life, your relationship with your husband /wife, children, siblings, in-laws, etc…

If any of those relationships are strained, whatever success, fame or fulfilment you ever attain will taste like ashes in your mouth. Our greatest joy and happiness come from healthy, strong and working marital and family relationships.

Don’t feel free to hurt your relationships! Don’t be careless with your relationships! Don’t take advantage of your relationships for personal gain!

Value, invest and protect your relationships!

Note however that your personal relationship with God is the lifewire and sustaining force for all your other relationships…So work hard on that, okay?

Now, receive total healing and deliverance from every form of emotional stress you’re going through right now, in the name of Jesus Christ! Peace!
