Text: Luke 18:1

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint..”

Prayer will make you a strong man!

And when a strong man, fully armed, guards his house (his marriage, family, business, health, etc) his possessions are safe – Luke 11:21.

If you’re not praying, you will be too weak spiritually to take charge of the affairs of your life…And that’s a dangerous place to be, I tell you! Because the devil will just be riding roughshod over you – stealing, killing and destroying things in you life as it pleases him. Nooo!

Prayer will keep your spirit man strengthened with might. That is, the more you pray, the more the Holy Spirit will be supplying your inner man with strength to function, and to be that “strong man” that the devil can mess around his stuff – Ephesians 3:16.

The more you pray, the more you’re strong in the Lord…because you keep drawing your strength from “that strength which his boundless might provides” – Ephesians 6:10 (AMP)

The more you pray, the more you’re empowered through your union with the Lord…That is, you will be drawing from all of God in you, and from every good thing that is in you in Christ for effects and supernatural results.

That was why Jesus loved to pray, and maintained a diligent lifestyle of prayer during his earthly ministry…Prayer kept provoking the Holy Spirit in him, the fullness of the Godhead in him, and eternal life in him – for such results that no man before him had ever commanded – John 3:1-2; Mark 6:2; Acts 10:38.

So, prayer is for your sake, not for God’s sake. Therefore, take a quality decision today to give yourself to prayer…to pray without ceasing…to pray always…

Receive super grace, now, in Jesus name!

Text: Psalm 112:1-3

“Praise ye the Lord.

Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord,

that delighteth greatly in his commandments…

Wealth and riches shall be in his house:

and his righteousness endureth for ever.”

Do you know that the fear of the Lord is not only keeping away from sin, living right, never missing church, and all that?

The fear of the Lord is also demonstrated in how you’re using your money…and what you’re using it for.

What you’re doing with your money matters to God and your destiny here on earth…and in the life to come.

It is true that no one leaves the earth with all the wealth, assets and possessions they have acquired, or accumulated all their life.

But do you know there’s what to do with your wealth and riches, that can keep it multiplying and relevant to many generations of your family, long after you’re gone from here?

Much more than that, your money can also purchase for you and your children (right down many generations) the things that money cannot buy – long life, sickness-free life, protection from evil and the wickedness of men, a life of uninterrupted joy, peace , no tragedies and no losses, etc. Oh yes!

It all depends on where and what you’re investing it in…Please Read Psalm 112 from verse 1-10, to get the full scriptural picture of what I’m talking about…Will you?

If all you’re doing with your money is solving problems, meeting needs and providing a life of comfort for you and your family, you’re not using your money well.

If, as a Christian, all that God is getting from your income and business profits is your tithes and offerings…then you’re not a candidate for the kind of wealth and riches that is required to finance the preaching of the gospel…

Or for the kind of wealth that you can pass down to your children’s children…Nor for a guaranteed eternal security and defense from the stealing, killing and destroying ministry of Satan, the devil.

Just your tithes and offerings going to the church cannot finance the preaching of the gospel (which should be the primary assignment and focus of every church) more than anything else…Romans 1:16, Acts 6:1-7.

This is why a lot of churches are struggling in fulfilling this great assignment that guarantees men’s total wellbeing, and the future of every generation.

If you’re in Christ, you’re a citizen of God’s Kingdom…So, It is time to begin to put more money than you spend in solving problems and meeting needs in God’s business…I’m telling you!

It is called Kingdom investment! And that is what commands Kingdom wealth – durable wealth and riches without sweat (Psalm 112:1-9)…Wealth that God himself gives you the power to make – Deuteronomy 8:7-18; 2 Corinthians 9:5-10!

Please, study and meditate prayerfully on all the scripture references I have given in this message…And believe the Holy Spirit to give you better understanding of these money matters. That’s what will baptize you into the grace required for seeking first the Kingdom of God…when it comes to managing your finances – (Matthew 6:24-34; James 1:5-8).

Enjoy great joy, peace and blessings throughout this new week, in Jesus name.

Text : 1 Corinthians 16:9

“For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.”

Don’t run the race of life with your mind on the adversaries!

Rather, run the race of life with your mind on the victory (your goal, vision, dream, purpose).

We read concerning Jesus:

“…who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame…”

Constant consciousness of enemies, obstacles and limitations that come your way (no matter how obvious or present they may seem), is a distraction.

Satan mounts them on the path to your desired goal/success to get you agitated, give you broken focus, and keep you busy dealing with issues, while others are making steady progress.

Now tell me, how much progress does a country make when it’s busy fighting wars?

That’s why you need to know such scriptural counsels like the one in Hebrews 12:2…

“Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection].

He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God. [Ps. 110:1.]

Verse 3 says,

“Just think of Him Who endured from sinners such grievous opposition and bitter hostility against Himself [reckon up and consider it all in comparison with your trials], so that you may not grow weary or exhausted, losing heart and relaxing and fainting in your minds.” (AMP)

Did you see that? Thank God for “the comfort of scriptures”…I tell you!

So, it’s all up to you! You have the personal responsibility to choose what to focus on : the enemies, the trials and temptations, the hardships or satanic gang ups against you…or joy and fulfillment that come with accomplished goals!

As for God, he’s so persuaded about your resilience, diligence and determination that he said in Genesis 11:6…

“Look!…The people are united, and they all speak the same language. After this, nothing they set out to do will be impossible for them!” (NLT)

Know this:

“Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”

And this also:as you move resolutely on, more conscious of your success than the challenges and oppositions…God will always give you victory. Yes!

That’s what 2 Corinthians 2:14 says…

“Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ…”

This year, nothing shall be able to distract you!

No matter how much he tries, satan will not be able to get your attention…in Jesus precious name! Alleluia!

~ 2 Thessalonians 3:16

“Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means…”

This year, your family will enjoy peace by all means!

~ Job 34:29

“When he giveth quietness, who then can make trouble…?”

Every trouble in your family comes to an end now!

~ Psalm 46:9

“He maketh wars to cease…”

Every war raging in your family/home, every confusion in your family, every strife, every evil…ceases now!

~ 2 Chronicles 14:7

“…we have sought him, and he hath given us rest on every side. So they built and prospered.”

This year, God will give your family rest on every side!

So, you will build and prosper!

You will enjoy increase, expansion, multiplication, progress…and much more…in the precious name of Jesus! Alleluia

#family #home

Raising a family is one of the greatest challenges of life…especially in the days we are in.

However…Don’t build your family (business, career or profession) at the expense of your marriage!

Because the health and strength of your marriage, is the foundation for your success and fulfillment in any of these other things you might consider more important.

Do you know…That sacrificial parenting demands that the relationship between husband and wife be healthy, viable and strong? Oh yes!

Husband and wife must always keep in mind that their relationship is more important than the relationship between parents and children.

Very soon the children grow up and leave the home to start their own families. But husband and wife will always be together (“Till death do us part”, as the vow usually states).

This is why, from their wedding day, husband and wife must continue to build and strengthen their relationship.

(I have always emphasized the fact that it is the relationship between husband and wife that is the marriage – Genesis 2:24).

So you two must be careful not to invest so much time on the children, your job, business and other activities, that you lose touch with each other.

We see situations where…After the children have left home, some couples sit and look at each other not knowing what to do…Because they no longer know each other…Over the years they have grown apart…And soon enough, loneliness, sickness and disease set in!

What I’m I saying? As you bring up your children, and try to build your family, please make quality time for each other…Husband and wife will always need each other, no matter how old they get…God made it so!

May God furnish you with grace, wisdom and understanding for balance in all that you do…in Jesus name!

Text: Romans 10:6-8

Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)

Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach…”

That is, don’t live life perplexed, confused and helpless…Don’t delay your miracle…What you’re looking for in Sokoto, is in your “shokoto” (trousers)!

My beloved! You see…When you begin to speak God’s Word into your life, God begins to work with his Word in your life, to confirm it…with results to show – Mark 16:20.

So, God’s Word is no good to you just sitting there in your Bible, or in your heart.

Romans 10:10 says it’s not enough to believe the Word in your heart…If the power of the Word of God you have believed in your heart must produce your desires (or that thing you need) for you, you must confess it (speak it out).

In 2 Corinthians 4:13, Apostle Paul said, “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak…”

In Ephesians 1:19 he also said, “ how incredibly great his (God’s) power is to help those who believe him.” – (TLB)…

The only way to release that power for your benefit in all areas of your life, is to speak the Word.

Now, what’s that area in your life where you want God to do something?

You have prayed, yes!

Begin now to speak the Word (what God has said) into it…And believe Him to work with your words, and give you a testimony…That’s the way life works in Christ – Matthew 17:20.

And if you won’t stop speaking, God won’t stop working…I tell you! Alleluia!

Remember to share your testimony with me! 😁

Text: Isaiah 1:19

“If you will only let me help you, if you will only obey me, then I will make you rich.” -TLB

Do you really want to see God in your life and affairs this year? Really really?

Then hear this…

It is not God that will adjust his standards to accommodate your own standards, and excuses…No!

You are the one to adjust your standards to accommodate his principles, and the demands of the new life in Christ…Yes!

The New Covenant is a Covenant of grace – Yes! But grace will never make up for your carelessness and lack of respect for the demands of righteousness – 2 Timothy 3:15-17.

If you want to continue with excuses this year, go ahead, knock yourself out! God has nothing to lose.

But please, when situations arise, don’t come running to him with emergency fasting and prayers…Or even dare to ask, “God where are you?”

You will just be reporting yourself to God, and the angels he has delegated to minister to you and keep you from all evil – Psalm 91:1-16

If you choose to put your job, business, family, etc, first before God this year…then be ready to trust those things for whatever you will need this year…including divine protection, divine healing, divine provisions, etc.

But I tell you, neither your job, family, business or bank account can do for you what God can do for you…I tell you!

Please, be wise this year! And be careful not to make the same mistakes you made last year, of serving and obeying God only as it is convenient…

God and his Kingdom first is the name of the game…That doesn’t change with every year that comes…Every time you open your Bible to Matthew 6:33, you will see it there.

I leave you with these words:

“…Listen carefully…God will stick with you as long as you stick with him. If you look for him he will let himself be found; but if you leave him he’ll leave you.” – 2 Chronicles 15:2 (MSG).

Receive grace, in Jesus name!

See, you don’t need to form (like the young people will say) to communicate with your husband. No you don’t.

I’ve heard teachings in Women’s Conferences that encourage women to seduce their husbands for sex.

They tell them, “Before he returns from work, take your birth, put on a seducing lingerie, put on a nice perfume, and wait for him at the door. So, as you open the door, take a pose and start talking in a drooling manner…” Please, isn’t that what harlots do? Look at Proverbs 7:10, “And, behold, there met him a woman

with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart.” May it be your husband that is at the door when it opens! And may he not be there with a guest he came home with! Can you imagine the embarrassment – both for you, your husband and the guest!

See, if you have to seduce your husband for him to have sex with you, then you don’t have a relationship! I tell you.

Please, let the Holy Spirit guide and teach you (even about how to improve and enjoy sex with your spouse)…He is in you to help you for such things too…Yes! Jesus said “he will teach you all things…” – John 14:26

Text: Proverbs 14:12

“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

I need to let you know this…

God will not open a door to you, and somewhere along the way, he shuts it in your face. What kind of God is that?

God cannot open a door to you that the end of it will be destruction, disappointment, shame or calamity. Haba! Read Job 34:10-12.

If you ever go through any door, and it ends in any of these, it definitely wasn’t God that opened it…You assumed it was him…And assumption is not faith…Because faith will always end in victory – 1 John 5:4.

Again, if indeed God opens a door to you, or leads you through a certain door, it is because there’s good waiting for you, not just at the end, but all the way through it.

So, if anything goes wrong, and that door gets shut to you, or your hopes are dashed, or things didn’t work out as you expected…then you probably mismanaged things, by doing things your own way…or by allowing the flesh to have the better of you, instead of relying on the leading of the Holy Spirit – Romans 8:6.

I’d also like you to know that whatever door God opens to you, his plan is that it will lead to yet another open door, and another, and another. Yes!

Because “I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.” – Read Ecclesiastes 3:14.

Sometimes we allow carelessness and foolishness in the way we handle God’s blessings and open doors in our lives, and then justify our disappoint with excuses…or blaming someone else for why things didn’t work out as we expected – Read Proverbs 19: 3 (Good News Bible); Proverbs 19:16 (NKJV); Psalm 107:17.

This is my challenge to you: if this God is really your God, and Father, settle down and begin to pay the price to know and understand the way he works; understand his unfailing love for you, and his plans and desires for you – Read Jeremiah 9:23-24; Psalm 1:1-3; Psalm 52:8 (NLT).

This is very important. So that the devil doesn’t keep messing with your head and taking advantage of you. Okay?

Do have a wonderful day, in Jesus name!

Text: Proverbs 24:5

“A wise man is strong and is better than a strong man, and a man of knowledge increases and strengthens his power; [Prov. 21:22; Eccl. 9:16.]” See…There’s no magic about the way things work in life…

In any area you increase your knowledge, you automatically increase your strength…

That is: you increase your results, your benefits, your control, your importance, relevance and self esteem, your peace, joy and comfort, etc)!

Blaming anyone for your struggles, frustrations, failures and the hardships you have suffered won’t change anything…Neither will quitting…or a choice for suicide!

So…Stop all that and take responsibility for the quality of life you want in this life, okay? Nobody owes you anything…

And, can I tell you something, my dear? Prayer…will never do for you what knowledge is supposed to do for you. Yes!

So please, wake up and live, life is sweet!
