Text: 1Kings 11:1
” But king Solomon loved many foreign women, as well as the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Amonites, Edomites, Sidonians and Hittites. “
WHO IS IT FROM?
You see, Satan will always present to you more than God has given you, more than God allows for you. You need to be sensitive to know God’s perfect will for you, what is outside his will for you, and what does not in any way agree with his will and ways of operation.
God wants more than enough for you, yes! But you must be sensitive to know who the more-than-enough is coming from – God or the devil. Or don’t you know that the devil sometimes presents himself as an angel of light?
HOW TO KNOW…?
How do you know what comes from God? Proverbs 10:22 makes us understand that
“The blessing of the Lord makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.”
Whatever you get that brings sorrow, pressures, stress, distraction and less time for God,is not of God. So beware!
Oh yes, it’s increase! It’s addition! It’s multiplication! But who, or where is it from? That’s the question.
Yes, that thing is available, it’s cheap, it looks good! But is it from God? Does God really want you to have it?
Concerning the many women that Solomon got for himself, 1Kings 11:2 says they are
“from the nations of whom the Lord had said to the
children of Israel, ‘You shall
not intermarry with them, nor they with you. Surely they will turn away your hearts after
Solomon clung to these in love.”
this is the same mistake many
have made in marriage, business deals and relationships, for instance?
May you not cling to what will turn God’s blessing in your life to a curse, or what will turn your heart away from God, in Jesus name! If you turn your back on God your life will go to pieces, I tell you! The enemy (Satan, the devil) will make mince meat of you, utterly devastate you! Yes.1Kings 11:4 says, For it was so, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned his heart after other gods and his heart was not loyal to the Lord his God.“
What a disaster! What a terrible way to end such a wealthy and great life, and the awesome legacy that the wisdom of God gave him! $See Ecclesiastes 2:3-9). May your case, and that of your children be different, in the precious name of Jesus Christ!
God bless you, as you begin, now, to make necessary adjustments and corrections, in Jesus name!
I also command supernatural restoration of whatever loss or setback you may have experienced because of your ignorance of this truth I have shared with you, in Jesus mighty name! Peace!

MARKETING THE LIFE PT1
Text: John 5:26
“For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the son to have life in himself. ”
THERE IS A LIFE
There is a life that Jesus brought us from heaven. It’s the life they live in heaven. It’s the very life God himself lives. It’s the life God originally intended for man in Adam (heaven on earth). Adam lost it.
But now,Jesus has brought that life back here on earth for man to enjoy, at last. Praise God! 1 John 5:12 says, “He that hath the son (Jesus) hath this life.” (Read 1 John 5:11-14,1 Corinthians 15:45)
if you are born again, you have received this life. Primarily, to advertise it, so that others would want it and come for it. Because it’s the real life God had purposed for man from the beginning. The life that all men born into this world inherited from Adam is not the real life. It falls completely short of the life that God created man to live here on earth.
God never intended for man to live for some time and then die. No! God never intended for man to suffer sickness and disease. No! God never planned poverty and lack for man. God did not plan hatred, envy, bitterness, wickedness, etc among men.
So you see, the life that the fallen man in Adam lives, is marketing all that the devil (not God) has to offer. And God certainly did not create man to advertise the devil and what he has to offer. No! The devil was a none issue in man’s affairs, till Adam sinned and handed over all men to the devil. God did not even mention the devil to Adam or warn him about him. He was a none issue. He was not part of God’s agenda for man here on earth. As far as God was concerned, Satan was non-existent, he was not part of the living.
We have marketed the perverted version of life enough. It’s time to market the real life. We have it now! We are in it now! 2 Corinthians 5:17 says so.
• It’s the kind of life that the fiery furnace couldn’t kill – Daniel 3:1–27.
• It’s the kind of life that no water can drown – Isaiah 41:1–2.
• It’s the kind of life that made Daniel inedible for the lions. – Daniel 6.
• It’s the kind of life that produces even in old age – Remember Abraham was 100 years old, and Sarah was 90.Yet they were still able to make the baby that God promised them. (Isaac)-Genesis 21:1-6.
• It’s the kind of life that defies any economic hardship or recession. Rather, it generates supernatural prosperity.Yes! Ask Isaac – Genesis 26:1–14.
• It’s the kind of life that no evil plan, wickedness or prison can subdue. Rather, it breaks jail to sit on the throne. Takes a man from prison to the palace! Ask Joseph – Genesis chapters 39–41.
• It’s the kind of life that hell has no power over. Ask Jesus – Ephesians 1:19–21.
• It’s not a life of the things that the gentiles seek after. At all! Rather it enjoys supernatural additions, supplies and provisions in overflow dimensions – Matthew 6:24–33,John 10:10.
• It’s a life that is supposed to overthrow Satan and set up the reign of Jesus anywhere, anyday, anytime –1 John 4:4,1 John 3:8,1 John 5:4.
This life is for living, so that men will see it and want it – Matthew 5:16.
If you have received this life in Christ, what have you been doing with it? The life is no longer with God, it’s now here in us and with us who have received it – John 1:1–14, John 3:16.
There’s nothing else God needs to do to save man from the tormenting life Adam collected from Satan. He has taken care of that in Christ. The work is finished. This new life (Zoe) has been deposited in you and I to give and share to all men through the witness of our own lives, and through the preaching of the Gospel of Christ – Acts 1:8, Romans 1:16, 2Corinthians 5:17–19,Mark 15:16–20.
Let’s stop living this great life from God in the most unattractive and mundane way, thus frustrating the power it carries. Let’s stop mixing the life with other things that dilute the power of it.
HOW DO I ADVERTISE THIS LIFE?

THE KEY TO EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION IN MARRIAGE
Text: Amos 3:3
“Can two work together, except they be agreed? ”
This indeed is a totally new dimension to communication in marriage. I have heard and read so much that has been said and written about this very important issue in marriage. So many communication skills and approaches have been suggested to married couples to help them improve on their communication.
But I’m here to share with you, a reality that didn’t come from my many thoughts on this matter But rather a powerful truth, hitherto unknown, I believe, which the Holy Spirit dropped in my heart as I prepared for a talk show on 700 Club. The subject was Communication In Marriage. My heart totally agreed with it. In fact, it made sense. Even your own heart will bear witness that this is the very key and lasting answer to the problem of communication in marriage – if we will all begin to take this reality seriously.
IT’S ABOUT WALKING TOGETHER…
Effective and productive communication in marriage takes, not just a husband and wife living together, but walking together. That is, having or sharing a common lifestyle.
It demands that the man and his wife live in the same world (right from the days of their courtship). A world consciously created by a clearly defined common purpose, a common dream, vision and pursuit that will keep them always reasoning together, sharing experiences, and interested in each other’s gist. Thus, there will be a readiness and willingness to listen to each other with genuine interest and excitement. This will definitely minimize occasions to misunderstand each other.
LIVING IN DIFFERENT WORLDS
Friction in marriage, which often results in little, and sometimes unhealthy communication, are often results of husband and wife having diversified dreams, desires, interests and pursuits, which makes them live in two different worlds.
A world they often have to force themselves out of. And searching for the right language with which to communicate, they end up most times misunderstanding each other. It then becomes impossible to have effective communication in marriage, because the man and his wife are not of one mind, one spirit, one language concerning issues – as Phillipians 2:4 recommends.
IT’S ALL ABOUT LEADERSHIP
(to be continued…)
On your wedding day, God gave you that woman you married, as a husband. You used to be a man like every other man,or a doctor/lawyer/banker/businessman/civil servant,a pastor/bishop,etc. But now you have become a husband – a different ball game altogether, I tell you!
Husband is not just a new title or status you have just acquired, it’s what God wants you to be to that your wife. It’s a responsibility God expects you to take up and be faithful to – with all excitement, commitment and faithfulness. Yes! Your lifestyle can no longer be business as usual, if you want to begin to enjoy the reasons for which you decided to get married.
YOU NEED KNOWLEDGE
So, it’s much more what God requires of you than what your wife or anybody else expects from you. That’s why it’s important to acquire knowledge and proper education about what God requires of you to practice husband hood, otherwise you won’t have a good marriage. And you will think it’s because you didn’t marry a good wife. But Proverbs 18:22 has already made it clear that, if it is indeed a wife you found and married, it’s a good thing you’ve found and brought into your life. Know that there’s nothing you later begin to see in that your wife that can make what God has said a lie. That’s why 1 Peter 3:7 recommends that every husband needs knowledge to dwell with (marry) his wife.
WHAT KIND OF KNOWLEDGE?
You can never be a husband God will be pleased with practicing husband hood with human, professional, traditional, cultural, political, business, academic or logical sense. Infact you will be a very poor and miserable specimen of a husband! Believe me.That’s what Jeremiah 5:4 says.
Marriage is not politics, business, a profession or a career. No! It’s a spiritual assignment from God with a definite purpose attached to it. This is a reality most people who are in marriage, or planning to marry are not aware of at all! (Read Genesis 1:26-28 and Genesis 2:24). So it’s only from God you can learn how to succeed in marriage. And the Bible is rich with God’s opinion, counsel, thoughts and ways about how he wants us to do marriage. And it’s your responsibility to search it out. Nobody can do that for you – just like nobody went to school for you.
Many have handled (and are handling) their God-given assignments in marriage anyhow (some very recklessly), and have destroyed both the marriage and many other things with it – without even knowing it! There are even some men who think what they now need is a new wife. No! What you need is a new mentality. Yes! And may this message give you that, by all means!
MY PRAYER FOR YOU…
I’d like to let you know, my brother, that God keeps a diligent tab on how a man treats his wife to determine how much blessings he rushes into that man’s life and business, job, career or profession. Oh yes! Read Malachi 2:13-16. And also Proverbs 18:22.
Having read this, today, my prayer for you is that God will give you a change of attitude towards your wife and your marriage. I pray also that he will empower you with the grace and determination to make changes where necessary. In the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ! Peace and blessings
HOW GOD SUPPLIES YOUR NEEDS PT 1
(an exposition of Philippians 4:19…From my 1991 study notebook.)
Text : Matthew 6:32
“…for your Heavenly Father knoweth that you have need of all these things. ”
THERE WILL ALWAYS BE NEEDS…
Needs must come. That is, our spiritual and physical lives will always make demands on us. Life, both in the physical and spiritual realms, must be sustained. Therefore, for as long as life continues, we will always have needs.
However, these needs are not supposed to snuff out the life that they are supposed to sustain. The life is greater than the needs. This means that our focus must be on the life itself not the needs. One must not seek after meeting needs at the expense, or detriment of the life. It is the life that keeps one going not the needs.
DON’T MAKE NEEDS YOUR GOD!
Don’t make needs your God. That is, don’t give any need that comes up in your life all your time, energy, loyalty, money, dedication or focus No! Don’t live for needs.
Needs are not evil. It is actually your attitude to them that determines their effect on your life. The call of God is a call into life (John 3:16, John 10:10). And God himself is that life. That means our focus should be on God ,who is the life and strength, and the salvation of this new life we have been called into in Christ.
KEPT BY HIS POWER
This life in Christ is not kept or sustained by needs. It is kept by the power of God (1Peter 1:5). It is when a man’s focus is not on God that he begins to focus on things that are supposed to focus on him. That’s what Jesus was talking about in Matthew 6:24–34.
God knows you have needs. Yet he says, “Take no thought (do not worth) …” about them. Why? Because the life we now have from him (and in him) has the power to attract to itself all that it requires to sustain it and keep it flourishing and productive. Yes! Ephesians 3:20 says, “…according to the power that worketh in us.”
THAT POWER IS…
👍 In Psalms 37:3 and Jeremiah 17:7–8, that power is the power of absolute trust in God. God proved it in Abraham…Romans 4:18–21
👍 In Psalms 37:4, that power is the power of constant attraction to God, and all that pertains to God…”Delight thyself in the Lord and he will grant thee the desires of thine heart. ”
👍 In Psalm 23:1–2, it is the power of constant obedience and undistracted followership of God,forgetting who or what you are, what you have or do not have – subjecting yourself and all your faculties absolutely to the Lord of all (Proverbs 3:3–5)… Admitting with all your heart that, “The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want. He leadeth me…
In Mark 1:11,he said, “Follow me and I will make you…”
👍 In Proverbs 3:9–10,Luke 6:38,2 Corinthians 9:5–10, this power at work in us, is the power of giving.
THE ACT OF GIVING
Giving is an attitude which culminates in an act of sacrifice in a time of need. It is an attitude of total submission to God which results in a readiness to let go in his name at the least prompting of the Spirit of God in you. Jesus put it this way, “It is more blessed to give than to receive. ” – Acts 20:36.
Giving is an attitude of being so swallowed up in God – absolutely consumed by God – which makes it impossible for you to be so attached to anything in your life that you can’t let go, if God is asking you to give it out.
The act of giving comes as a result of a sense of well-being, a sense of abundance and sufficiency, which really does not depend on what you can see already. It is the product of a revelation of that which is not seen, but is real, and you know it’s there, and is freely yours in Christ Jesus (2Corinthians 4:18). Glory to God!

YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN!
(Nicodemus comes to Jesus by night…An exposition of John Chapter 3:1–6)…lifted from my 1991 study notebook).
It is not your high place in office, your fame or your social status that brings you recognition with God. No! Earthly things are earthly things, while spiritual things are spiritual things. They are both far apart, and one can never take the place of the other.
“RABBI WE KNOW THAT… ”
General knowledge, or knowing by other people’s knowing, can never give you a deep revelation of God…which is what brings salvation. There is need for you to have a personal knowledge of God.
Those who move with the crowd will never have a true taste of God. It’s time to single yourself out and identify with Christ. Then he will identify with you, and show you great and mighty things you never knew.
Nicodemus sought a personal relationship with Christ, so he came to him. If you desire the Salvation and new life that Jesus gives, you must come to him on your own. Separate yourself from the crowd, from the things, people,or the wrong knowledge that has been keeping you far from God and come.
You must put away other gods (money, fame, titles, position, etc) and come. Change your garments (of pride, greed, covetousness, self-worship, ambition, envy, etc) and come. You have clothes yourself with so much worldliness, which is unprofitable and have no eternal value. Put them off and come. Jesus is waiting with arms open…
“NO MAN CAN DO THESE MIRACLES THAT YOU DO… ”
Your knowledge of the signs, wonders and miracles of God, that you have heard so much, preaching and teaching about, cannot make you a child of God. No! Those things are physical, they are consequences of the real thing. And the real thing is to be reconciled with God through new birth…
You must be born again. You must be “born of water and the Spirit.” That is, you must allow the Word of God (the Gospel of Christ – Romans 1:16) show you your filthiness and wretchedness, and create in your heart a sincere desire to be washed clean (Ezekiel 36:25 – 27).
Then, the Spirit of God, who indwells the Word, will now take you by the hand to God. As God accepts you in the beloved, he creates in you a new heart (spirit), and puts his Spirit within you, by whom you will know beyond every doubt that you are now born again, a new creation, a child of God.
A new awareness dawns on you – the reality of God! And you sense a new determination to live for God and obey him. Sin begins to look very, very ugly to you! You didn’t know the difference before. You didn’t know the difference between right and wrong before, because you were under the dominion of sin. There was no light in you to make you realise the darkness.
But when you are born again, the light of God, the light of life (Jesus Christ himself) comes into your life (John 1:4–5). And as you continue to live and walk in him, you will always see where you’re going and you will have no occasion to stumble. It becomes easy for you to identify anything that looks like darkness, and you reject it and keep away from it.
Now you have God’s nature of righteousness, and sin has no more dominion over you. You no longer have anything to do with the unfruitful works of darkness. You are now in Christ. Alleluia! (Read 2Corinthians :17–21,Romans chapters 6 & 7).

THE LIFESTYLE OF SONS OF GOD
Text : 1 John 3:2” Now are we the sons of God… “
IF YOU’RE BORN AGAIN…
If you’re born again, you are in Christ. And in Christ we are born sons of God. Sonship is responsibility! God didn’t make us his sons for nothing. God is always a profit-oriented God. So it’s important to know what God requires of you as a son. That will help you to know how to make choices, decisions, and live your life while you’re still here on earth. Your sonship came with a purpose attached to it.
JESUS OUR EXAMPLE
Jesus was the first son of God to be born into this earth. When he first came to earth, be was the only son of God. But by his death, burial and resurrection, now God has many more sons – Romans 8:29. So we are sons of God like Jesus, and God expects of us what Jesus is to him. Read Ephesians 4:8-13, Hebrews 12:1–2. No wonder 1 John 2:6 says, “Anyone who claims to be intimate with God ought to live as Christ lived. ” The question then is…
HOW DID JESUS LIVE?
We can look at how Jesus lived when he was here on earth, and learn the lifestyle of sons of God. He came to model the life that God had created man to live, which Adam and Eve sabotaged, when they took on Satan’s nature of sin! It’s impossible to live a life acceptable to God with a sin nature. That’s why God sent Jesus to pay the price for man’s total freedom from sin and the tyranny of the devil… And he did a good job! Yes. Read John 3:16, Colossaians 1:13, Colossians 2:15. Alleluia!
We can’t claim to be sons of God and be living like mere sons of men – mere human beigns – John 1:13. That could be very dangerous! Read Job 14:1–2. There is a way sons of God are expected to live.
WHAT PEOPLE WANT TO SEE…
People don’t just want to hear about Jesus, they’re hungry to see him. People don’t just want to hear or know about God, they want to see him. They don’t just want to know what others are saying about him, they want to see him for themselves. They want to see his character. They want to see his power, and what it can do.Yes!
They want to see his lifestyle – how eternal life looks, and how eternal life functions.
Jesus was the first man to have eternal life – the same kind of life God has and enjoys.God put that life in him and sent him here on earth to advertise its reality and potency. And eventually share it with all of humanity… “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting love.” –John 3:16.
Now, everyone who has received Jesus has this life. Read John 1:14,1 John 5:11–13.Of course, the child of a goat is born with goat life. The child of a dog is born with dog life. Even so, everyone born a son of God, in Christ, is born with God life…eternal life -Zoe!
The leople told Phillip, “Sir we will see Jesus… ” Read John 12:20–21. Are you truly a son of God? Well then, it’s time to let Jesus think, talk, walk and live his life through you…
It’s time for us to, by the Holy Spirit in us, do the works that he did, and greater works…so that the world can see Jesus, thear Jim and touch him through us….
It’s time for us to reveal Jesus to the world on this earth, just as Jesus powerfully revealed the Father during his life here on earth.
What I’m I saying? It’s time for the manifestation of your sonship…Read Romans 8:18–20!
LET’S CONSIDER JESUS…
( to be continued…)
