THE MYSTERY OF PARENTING

NUGGETS FROM MY TEACHING ON: THE
MYSTERY OF PARENTING (Part 1).

Text: Luke 2:4 –

And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace of God was upon him. “

This was my scriptural picture (example) of the product of effective, successful and achieved parenting.

For all parents who wonder what it means to ” train up a child in the way he should go”, or how to raise empowered children; or what God means when he said he wants ” a godly seed”,this is the approved, authentic model of a “well-brought-up” person!

WHAT IS PARENTING?

Parenting is the act (in fact, the art) of nurturing, raising and educating a child until adulthood – Proverbs 22:6).

I call it an art because parenting must be as unique and peculiar as every child is unique and peculiar. And an art is learnt; because it adds skill to your natural talents, gifts and endowments.
So parenting can/should be learnt. You don’t automatically become a good parent because you gave birth to the child. No wonder…!

WHAT IS NUTURING?

The future of every seed (child born into any home) is not just in the planting/birth; it’s, much more,in the nurturing. Continue reading THE MYSTERY OF PARENTING

WANTED: HUSBANDS AND WIVES!

You come to your wedding as a man and a woman. But the wedding automatically qualifies and licenses you both as husband and wife. Then, marriage begins.

But the sad thing, and the greatest undoing of many marriages, is that many husbands and wives are doing marriage as just men and women. No wonder being married is not easy for many married couples. It takes a husband and a wife to be married.

If you, man, will consciously allow the husband in you to take the stage; and you, wife, allow the wife in you to take the stage, you will both have a marriage indeed -effortlessly! I tell you!

MARRIAGE IS SPIRITUAL!

Marriage is a spiritual institution, designed to be practiced by two spiritual male and female that have been legally joined together as husband and wife. Continue reading WANTED: HUSBANDS AND WIVES!

STAY ON THE JOB; IT’S WORTH IT!

ANONYMOUS : What should a woman facing persecution from her husband do?

ADA EZEKA : My beloved, it’s like asking, ” What should a woman facing persecution on her job do? ”  Well then, it depends on how important the job is to you, what value, profit and blessing it’s adding to you.  That is what will determine whether you want to quit the job, or endure the persecution and stay on the job, because of what it means to you and your destiny in God.

The-Ministry-of-Womanhood

Everywhere I go, I teach women that womanhood is a ministry from God. It is God that called us women into the job of wifehood, motherhood and homemaking (Titus 2:4-5). Continue reading STAY ON THE JOB; IT’S WORTH IT!

WISDOM FOR SINGLE/MARRIED MEN – DON’T BE A STRANGER!

Dont-be-a-stranger_wisdom-quote-for-singles-and-married_ada-ezeka_family-life

Children  (both male and female) are born into a family, trained and empowered to make that family greater, more prosperous and comfortable than their parents ever did – totally taking the family to a new level!

So, when you go take a daughter from a family as wife, it’s supposed to be a gain not a loss to that family. So don’t become a stranger or start acting like one after you have taken their daughter with you! Don’t turn your back on that family! So that they’re not plagued by a sense of loss. No! Be more of a son that God has added to that family, than one who has come to take their daughter (and in most cases their bread-winner) away. Don’t let that family become so impoverished and neglected  because their daughter got married. No! Continue reading WISDOM FOR SINGLE/MARRIED MEN – DON’T BE A STRANGER!
